The SOPHOS project consortium is celebrating another review meeting hosted by partner DSI Aerospace GmbH in Bremen. The productive event confirmed that the project is mainly progressing on schedule and received good feedback from the reviewers. While some parts of the project experienced delays, the project is now commencing towards the final integration and demonstration.
The partners also seized the opportunity for hands-on collaboration, advancing the crucial integration of the Payload Processing Module (PPM) with the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE). This practical achievement marks a significant step forward, paving the way for the next phase of system-level testing of the demonstrator together with the Mass Memory Module (MMM). The project team leaves Bremen with renewed momentum and a clear path toward its final goals.
