SOPHOS was present at SmallSat 2023, 5th to the 10th of August!
The objective of activities during the event was to do initial outreach to any interested attendees at the event and to raise awareness of the potential of the SOPHOS technology base being developed.
Unibap had a booth to present the general offering from Unibap to interested attendees. This was located in the Taggard Student Center on the USU campus. As a part of the booth setup the SOPHOS roll-up was included in a prominent placement. The roll-up served as a good attention grabber from people passing by Unibap stand.
In addition to this, SOPHOS was also included in the side meeting activity hosted by Unibap during the SmallSat week.

The SOPHOS roll-up being show cased with a short introduction of Unibap VP Space Mathias Persson in his speech inviting attendees to ask more questions if interested.

The takeaway from SmallSat in a SOPHOS context:
- Several highly relevant companies was introduced to the SOPHOS work and showing a high interest in the work and commercial potential use-case.
- Confirming a market interest in the general development with specific questions on technology developed and timeline for completion.
- There was a clear interest in learning about SOPHOS from both SAR and non-SAR SmallSat attendees showing a clear interest in the offering and tech development.
